WhatsApp assistant

Run your property from WhatsApp.

Send one message to see who owes rent, remind everyone who does, record a payment, or note a complaint. Type in Hinglish, Hindi or English — the reply comes back in the same language.

  • For owners, managers and tenants
  • Hinglish, Hindi or English — or a voice note
  • Set up in the app, then we turn on the chat

Set up in the app. Then enable the assistant.

  1. 1. Create your property. Add the records the assistant will use.
  2. 2. Ask for account activation. Access and usage controls apply.
  3. 3. Ask within your permissions. Review confirmation for supported changes.

App notifications are separate from assistant conversations. Sending a message to the team does not create a property or enable assistant access automatically.

WhatsApp automation for PG operations

Automatic updates. Property control through chat.

EasyAavaas combines automated WhatsApp notifications with an AI assistant for owners, managers and tenants. Run rent follow-ups and daily property work from the same records used by the Android and iOS app.

Automated rent reminders

Due-date reminders use the property’s configured reminder timing and unpaid rent records. WhatsApp delivery depends on notification settings and an available tenant contact.

Rent, payment, complaint, visitor and notice events can also send updates. These app notifications do not require an assistant conversation.

Ask and act in WhatsApp

Ask who owes rent, remind selected tenants or everyone who still owes, record a received payment, check rooms, raise complaints and handle supported requests.

Use English, Hindi, Hinglish or a voice note. Assistant access needs activation. Account permissions and confirmation cards control supported changes.

Keep rent collection organised

Follow the balance from rent generation to reminder, payment record and proof review. Tenants pay the owner directly by the agreed method; EasyAavaas keeps the records together.

A payment screenshot is supporting evidence. Payment verification remains with the owner or permitted staff; it is not automatic bank reconciliation.

The first of the month

You already know who owes you money.

Getting to the number is the hard part — the sheet you last updated on Sunday, one chat per tenant, and a phone call for anything urgent.

None of that work is difficult. It is just slow, and it happens on the busiest day of your month. So the sheet falls behind, two tenants go unchased, and you find out weeks later.

Ask the same question in WhatsApp and the answer comes back from your live records — every tenant, every unpaid month, with the days overdue, when the request is processed.

  • No spreadsheet
  • No message per tenant
  • Review dues before following up
  • No app to open

What it does

What you can do from the chat.

The six things people ask it for most. Every card below is an example of the reply you get back.

Rent and dues

Ask once. See everything that is owed.

Two months unpaid for one tenant and one for another is the normal case, and it needs a clear record for each billing month. Ask in one line and every unpaid month comes back per tenant, with the bed, the amount and the days overdue.

This is the number you want before you pick up the phone — not a report you still have to add up.

The same property in the app — rent, utilities and payment status per tenant.

Reminders

One message reminds everyone who owes.

Each tenant gets their own reminder — their name, their room, their amount. Not a group message that half of them ignore.

The list is worked out at the moment you tap, so anyone who paid last night is left out of it.

You see the names and the total before it sends, and nobody who has already paid gets chased.

Your own words

Type in Hinglish, Hindi or English. Or just send a voice note.

Write it the way you would write it to a friend. You can name a room instead of a person too — “103 wale ka rent aa gaya” finds whoever lives there.

No English needed and no app to learn. If you can send a WhatsApp message, you can do this.

Before anything is saved

You read the card first. Then you tap Yes.

Every change — a payment, a reminder, a rent amount — is matched against your real records and shown to you first. What runs is what you read on the card.

Your app permissions come with it: whatever a member can do in the app, they can do here — no more. A tenant’s chat stays on their own record.

You are never guessing what it understood — the tenant, the room and the amount are on the card before you agree to it.

Payment proof

Record it once. Everyone sees the same thing.

Share the UPI screenshot into the same chat and it is offered against the payment you just recorded. No form to fill, and no “which tenant was this for”.

Once it is recorded, the tenant gets it on WhatsApp with a link straight into the record — and the same thread still answers what is left to collect.

The proof sits on the rent record itself, where your accountant looks for it at month end — not buried in a chat.

For your tenants

Your tenants can check their own rent themselves.

The same number answers your tenants about their own room, their own dues and their own complaints.

A tenant’s chat stays on their own record. They are not shown the property’s totals, and they cannot record a payment or edit anything.

Every question a tenant asks here is a call you do not take at eleven at night.

Every month

Four jobs, and what each one takes now.

What each one used to take, and the message that replaces it now.

The 1st of the month

Owner · three properties

Until now
Open the spreadsheet last touched on Sunday, work out who is short, then send near-identical messages by hand, one tenant at a time. A missed update can leave the follow-up list inaccurate.
On WhatsApp
Two messages and one tap. Everyone who owes gets a note about their own rent — and whoever paid last night does not.

kis kis ka rent baaki hai → in sabko yaad dila do

The tank fails at 9pm

Owner · one building, 18 beds

Until now
Eighteen separate messages, or a group nobody reads. Half the tenants find out in the morning by turning on a tap.
On WhatsApp
One sentence in your own words, sent to everyone at the property. You see the recipient count before it goes.

sabko bol do kal subah paani nahi aayega

11pm, and a tenant wants to pay

Tenant · one room

Until now
They do not know the exact figure and will not call the owner at night. So they pay a round number, and it goes wrong at both ends.
On WhatsApp
They ask, get their own balance, pay, and send the screenshot into the same thread. You wake up to it already filed.

mera kitna baaki hai

A new tenant at the gate

Warden · handles move-ins

Until now
Photograph an Aadhaar, write the name on paper, and enter it into the system that evening — if the deposit amount is still remembered.
On WhatsApp
Start at the gate with just the room number. The chat asks only for what is missing, then shows the whole record before saving.

103 bed 2 me naya tenant add karo

Everything else

And the rest of the day.

The same chat handles the smaller jobs too — the ones that used to need a phone call or a walk to the office.

Rooms and beds

Who is in bed B, what is vacant, what a room costs.

Complaints

Filed with a reference code, tracked to resolution.

Room changes

Requested, reviewed, and approved in the thread.

Visitor approvals

A tenant asks, the warden approves, the gate knows.

Deposits

Agreed and collected, tracked apart from rent.

Monthly rent

Generated for assigned tenants, utilities bundled in.

Notices

One sentence to everyone at a property, with the count first.

Multiple properties

All of them in one chat, without switching.

Getting started

Set it up once. Then run the month from the chat.

The records live in the app, and the chat works on those records. Being straight about that is the point — there is no magic step where a property sets itself up.

01

Add your property in the app

Rooms, beds, tenants, rent and deposits. This part is real setup and it happens once — everything the chat answers later comes from these records.

02

Save the EasyAavaas number

Add it to your contacts like any other number and message us — we will turn the assistant on for your account. Share the number with your manager and your tenants too: each person only ever sees what their role allows.

03

Send your first message

Ask what you would ask your manager. A card comes back with the answer, and that is the whole of it — every day after.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before they let a chat near their rent records.

Does EasyAavaas provide WhatsApp automation for PG management?

Yes. EasyAavaas supports automated rent due-date reminders and event notifications on WhatsApp, subject to notification settings and an available contact. Its separate WhatsApp AI assistant lets authorised users check dues, send reminders, record payments and handle complaints or supported requests through chat. Activate assistant access after setting up the property in the app.

Are rent reminders automatic or sent when I ask?

Both workflows are supported. Scheduled due-date reminders use the property reminder timing and unpaid rent records. Through the activated assistant, you can also ask to remind selected tenants or everyone who still owes rent, review the recipients and confirm. WhatsApp delivery depends on notification settings and a reachable contact.

Can I collect rent and control my PG from WhatsApp?

You can manage the rent collection workflow through WhatsApp: check balances, send reminders, record received payments and attach proof, alongside room information, complaints, notices and supported approvals. Tenants pay the owner directly. EasyAavaas does not transfer rent or automatically reconcile bank transactions. Property setup and full reports remain available in the app.

Does the WhatsApp assistant cost anything?

No. The assistant runs on the WhatsApp Business API, which bills per message. EasyAavaas absorbs that cost. You never receive a WhatsApp API bill, and there is no per-message charge to you, your staff, or your tenants. You also do not need your own Meta or WhatsApp Business API account — we provide the number and the templates.

Do I still need to open the app?

For setup, yes — your property, rooms, beds, tenants, rent and deposits are added in the app, once. After that the daily work can run from WhatsApp: dues, reminders, payments, complaints, notices, and visitor or room-change approvals. Open the app when you want the full record, a report, or an export.

What if it misunderstands me?

Anything that touches money, a tenant or a room waits for you. Every such change is matched against your real records and shown as a card first — the tenant, the room, the month, the amount. If a card names the wrong one, tap No, cancel and say it again; nothing has been written. Complaints and requests are filed straight away by design, so an issue is never left unlogged waiting on a confirmation.

Does it understand Hindi and Hinglish?

Yes. Type in Hinglish, Hindi or English, or send a voice note instead of typing. The reply comes back in the language you used. You can name a room instead of a person too — “103 wale ka rent aa gaya” finds whoever lives there.

Can my tenants use the same number?

Yes. A tenant’s chat is scoped to their own record — their room, their dues, their deposit, their complaints. They are not given the property’s totals, and they cannot record payments or change records. The same role permissions you set in the app apply in the chat.

Can my manager use it without seeing everything?

Exactly the role permissions you already set in the app. By default a manager and a warden share the same on-site permissions, an owner has everything, and a tenant reads only their own record. WhatsApp does not widen anyone’s access — if you revoke a permission in the app, it is gone from the chat too.

What happens to a payment screenshot?

It is offered as proof against the payment you just recorded. Confirm, and it is attached to that rent record — visible in the app to whoever verifies payments, with the same trail as a proof uploaded from the app.
