RentOk is subscription software; EasyAavaas is free forever. RentOk’s refund policy says access is sold on a subscription basis, for one month or longer plans such as 6 or 12 months, but its website does not publish plan prices; you get them through a demo or sales call. RentOk collects rent through payment links and autopay processed by a payment gateway. In EasyAavaas, tenants pay the owner directly by UPI, cash or bank transfer, and the owner records the payment or verifies the proof. Both send WhatsApp rent reminders. How RentOk handles rent money. RentOk’s refund policy says it provides “payment facilitation features” and that platform payments “are processed through a secure payment gateway” (RentOk refund policy). Its Pay Rent terms say payments are facilitated through a third-party payment gateway and remitted to the beneficiary’s bank account less any applicable fees or service charges, and they describe how chargebacks are handled (RentOk terms). Its tenant page offers 50% cashback on debit card, credit card and net banking processing charges, without stating the charge itself (RentOk tenant page).
Who benefits from that model. If you want tenants to pay by link or autopay and see the payment update without typing it in, a gateway does that work. That can matter more than the fees to an operator handling many UPI or card payments each month.
How EasyAavaas handles it. EasyAavaas never touches the money. Tenants pay you the way they already do, to your UPI ID, bank account or in cash, so there is no gateway fee, no settlement wait and no chargeback process in the app. The cost is a small daily task: you record what you received, or approve the proof and UTR a tenant uploads.
