Tenant records, documents and team
A tenant profile holds phone, emergency contact, joining date, room, rent and deposit. Tenants submit documents from their phone and you review them. A manager or warden gets their own access.
What to know: “Approve” means you mark the profile verified after reviewing the documents. It is not Aadhaar, government or police verification. Staff, accountant and support roles see no rent until you turn those permissions on.

WhatsApp rent reminders
EasyAavaas sends rent reminders on WhatsApp. See who owes what in the app, or ask the assistant whose rent is pending this month.
What to know: Automatic reminders go out 3 days before the due date, with one overdue message after the grace period, to tenants with a reachable WhatsApp number. The EasyAavaas team sets that schedule; tenants can mute WhatsApp by category. Asking the assistant needs account activation.

Direct payments, proof and extra charges
Tenants pay you directly by UPI, cash or another agreed method. They submit proof for you to verify, or you enter the payment yourself. Electricity and other charges join the month’s rent record.
What to know: EasyAavaas does not process or hold money and does not reconcile your bank account, so check your account before verifying a screenshot. Maintenance is added as an “Other” charge. The app does not generate rent receipts.

Rooms, beds and assigned items
See which rooms and beds are free or occupied and who stays where, bill per bed or for the whole room, and record items such as keys handed over at check-in.
What to know: Beds cannot be reserved or blocked; rooms can be marked under maintenance. Items that are not returned hold up move-out unless the owner overrides.

Complaints and tenant updates
A tenant registers a complaint, you are alerted on WhatsApp, the work is done and the status updated, and the tenant hears when it is resolved.
What to know: The tenant is notified when you post a public update and when the complaint is resolved or closed, not on every status change. Complaints unresolved after 24 hours are escalated. WhatsApp alerts follow each person’s notification settings.

Notices and WhatsApp announcements
Send a water-supply update or a maintenance notice from the app instead of typing the same message to each person.
What to know: Notices sent from the app go to every active member of the property, or to all your properties at once. Sending to selected tenants, as the narration says, is done through the WhatsApp assistant after activation. The app does not show who has read a notice.

Visitors, inventory and reports
Visitor entries, inventory and month-end reports sit with the rest of the property’s records.
What to know: Tenants register visitors in the app; owners, managers and wardens approve them and record check-in and check-out. Reports are the Property Summary, Rent Ledger and Tenant Directory, per property, in Excel or PDF.

Using the WhatsApp AI assistant
Away from the property, ask the assistant about dues, ask it to send a reminder, or record a payment and handle complaints.
What to know: Access is activated per person by the EasyAavaas team. The assistant works within your app permissions, shows a confirmation card before any change (cards expire after 15 minutes), and a conversation can run 40 turns a day before it is handed to the team.
