EasyAavaas is a free PG and hostel management app for Hyderabad owners. Whether you call your building a PG or a men's or ladies' hostel, you set up rooms and beds, add tenants with their food preference, record rent they pay you directly, handle complaints, including food complaints, and send notices. It has no mess or meal-planning module: if you serve food, include it in the rent or add it as a separate monthly charge. Hyderabad's metro area is served by more than one police commissionerate, so check which one covers each building; EasyAavaas stores tenant documents but does not submit them to the police.

Course-student hostels and IT-corridor PGs run differently

Hostel for course students near Ameerpet or Dilsukhnagar

Four- or triple-sharing rooms billed per bed.
If students stay only for a course, expect move-ins and move-outs every month.
If meals are included, record each tenant's food preference.
Example rent (illustrative): ₹6,500 a month for a four-sharing bed with meals.

PG for IT tenants around HITEC City, Madhapur or Gachibowli

Twin-sharing and single rooms; company and workplace on each profile.
Electricity billed by room from meter readings.
Tenants who pay by UPI upload the proof; you approve it.

Example: a course student's month in an Ameerpet hostel

Illustrative example, not a customer story. A student joins a four-month software course and takes a bed in a men's hostel at ₹6,500 a month with meals. The hostel also charges ₹500 a month for laundry.

Add the student with the quick add, assign Bed D in Room 12, set rent ₹6,500, mark them as a student and set food preference to Veg. Add a family member as an emergency contact.
Create an Other charge of ₹500 for laundry assigned to the student for this billing month. It is added to their rent record, so the month shows ₹7,000 due. Repeat it each month you charge it.
The student pays ₹7,000 by UPI to your account and uploads the screenshot with the UTR. The warden checks the credit and approves it. The student gets an app and WhatsApp message when it is verified.
A week later the student raises a Food complaint with a photo of an undercooked meal. The warden assigns it to the staff member who runs the kitchen, posts a public update the student can read, and marks it resolved. Unresolved complaints are raised in priority after 24 hours.
Publish a notice to the hostel: "Main gate closes at 10.30 pm from Monday". It reaches every active tenant and staff member by app notification and, unless muted, WhatsApp.
When the course ends, complete the move-out. Unpaid rent, an unreturned key or an unsettled deposit will stop it until you clear them or, for items, the owner overrides.

Food: what the app records and what it does not

If you serve meals, you may expect a mess module. EasyAavaas does not have one, so here is how the food side fits.

Which police station covers your building?

Hyderabad's metro area is policed by more than one commissionerate. Hyderabad City Police runs its own website and services (Hyderabad City Police). Cyberabad Police lists the Gachibowli, Madhapur and Raidurgam police stations in its organisation structure and offers a jurisdiction finder on its website (Cyberabad Police, read 23 October 2026).

If you run a hostel near Ameerpet and a PG in the IT corridor, confirm which commissionerate and police station covers each address, and ask that station what tenant details it needs. Station boundaries can change, so recheck when you open a new building.

EasyAavaas does not submit tenant details and does not verify identity with Aadhaar, DigiLocker or any government system. It keeps ID proof, address proof and agreements on each tenant profile, with a verified flag that records who reviewed them. This is operational guidance, not legal advice.

Languages, support and availability

The app is in English and Hindi; Telugu is not available yet. The WhatsApp assistant understands English, Hindi and Roman-script Hinglish, accepts voice notes, and is included free after your account is activated by the team.

No. It records each tenant's food preference, lets you add food as a separate monthly charge and handles food complaints. Menu planning and meal counts are not available.

Can it handle students who stay only for a course of a few months?

Yes. Rent is recorded month by month, so a short stay simply has fewer rent records. Rent is generated at the full monthly amount; adjust a part month by hand.
