EasyAavaas is a free PG management app that a Delhi PG owner can run from one phone: rooms and beds, tenant profiles, rent records, documents, complaints and notices. It fits the two setups you find across Delhi: student PGs near university campuses and coaching areas such as North Campus, Mukherjee Nagar and Laxmi Nagar, where shared rooms turn over at session time and parents often pay; and working-tenant PGs with single or twin rooms. Tenants pay you directly by UPI, cash or bank transfer, and the app records the payment and its proof. It keeps tenant documents for your review, but it does not file Delhi Police tenant registration for you.
Start with the setup that matches your building. The first thing to configure is different for a coaching-area PG than for a working-tenant PG, even though both use the same app.

Illustrative example, not a customer story. A 30-bed student PG near North Campus charges ₹12,500 a month for a twin-sharing bed and the same amount as deposit. A first-year student arrives on the 12th. These figures are invented to show the workflow.
In student PGs the person who pays is often not the person who stays. EasyAavaas has no parent portal or parent login. The rent record belongs to the student, and the payment is recorded against it whoever sent the money.
Write the payer in the payment note, for example "Paid by father, UPI", and attach the proof. Automatic rent reminders go to the student: one three days before the due date and one after the grace period, by app notification and WhatsApp. If a parent needs to know, keep the parent as an emergency contact and call them yourself.
Owners who prefer Hindi can switch the app language to Hindi. The WhatsApp assistant also understands Hindi and Roman-script Hinglish. It is included free after your account is activated; message the team to request access.
The Delhi Police website lists Domestic Help/Tenant Registration among its online citizen services (Delhi Police, read 23 October 2026). You complete it yourself through Delhi Police citizen services or your local police station.
EasyAavaas helps you collect what you need beforehand. Tenants or staff upload ID proof, address proof and the agreement to the tenant profile. You can remind a tenant who has not uploaded. After registration, upload the police acknowledgement to the same profile under Other, so the record shows it was done.
EasyAavaas does not submit anything to Delhi Police and does not verify identity with Aadhaar, DigiLocker or any government system. Several students often leave in the same week. EasyAavaas will not finish a move-out while rent is unpaid, while issued items such as a room key are still with the tenant (the owner can override), or while the deposit is unsettled. Record the refund now, or mark it as refund later if you pay after the room inspection. Deposit deductions are not itemised in the app: write the reason in the note and keep your own checklist.
The app works anywhere in India, including every part of Delhi and New Delhi. There is no Delhi office and no local partner.
